I wanted to have my natural curly hair for my wedding, so I was preparing to have to explain the nuance of my hair like I typically do with stylists. I was pleasantly surprised to find out she has a background working with curly hair and knew what she was doing without me having to explain. She perfectly incorporated feedback from our trial into my look on the day-of. I felt absolutely beautiful! She also did my mom and my mother-in-law’s hair and makeup. Neither of them are big makeup wearers, and Alissa took extra care to make sure they both still felt like themselves. She fit in great with everyone who was getting ready with me, even offering up some of her hair products for my friends to use. "Alissa did my makeup for two separate weddings. She gave me a specific traditional/natural look for a cultural Asian wedding and a more glam look for my wedding at the ANHC. Her air brush makeup lasted the whole day from 9:00am to 1:00am. She is super fast at applying makeup and doing hair. I would not worry that she would not be able to finish on time even if you have a big wedding party. I had 8 in my wedding party and she was able to accommodate all of them.
